Sean Lipsky’s practice focuses primarily on complex commercial litigation, construction litigation including bond and lien claims, business transactions, shareholder and partnership disputes, insurance coverage disputes and tax litigation. He has successfully represented numerous clients at the trial level in state and federal courts in both New York and New Jersey. Mr. Lipsky has also successfully represented numerous clients before appellate courts in both New York and New Jersey, including the New Jersey Supreme Court, resulting in a number of reported decisions.Recently, Mr. Lipsky successfully tried a shareholder dispute before the Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court of New York, New York County, which was upheld by the Appellate Division, First Department (Swenvest Corporation v. Wener, 2010 NY Slip. Op. 03037).Mr. Lipsky was recognized by New Jersey Super Lawyers as a Rising Star among practitioners in 2009 and 2010.
He recently co-authored a chapter regarding New Jersey partnership law for LexisNexis’ New Jersey Commercial Litigation Practice Guide.
